These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MaternIT website, application, platform, content, provider tools, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using MaternIT, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not access or use the Services.

MaternIT is a maternal health literacy, care engagement, communication-support, continuity-of-care, and educational platform.

The Services are intended to assist users in:

Organizing pregnancy and postpartum healthcare information
Improving understanding of healthcare information
Preparing questions for healthcare providers
Supporting informed participation in healthcare discussions
Tracking selected pregnancy and postpartum information
Accessing educational resources
Supporting continuity of care

MaternIT is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical decision-making, or emergency services.

  1. NO MEDICAL ADVICE

The information, tools, content, summaries, resources, and features provided through MaternIT are for educational and informational purposes only.

MaternIT does not:

Diagnose medical conditions
Prescribe treatment
Replace healthcare professionals
Provide emergency care
Guarantee clinical outcomes
Make healthcare decisions on behalf of users or providers

A physician-patient relationship
A midwife-client relationship
A nurse-patient relationship
A pharmacist-patient relationship
Any other healthcare provider-patient relationship

MaternIT does not provide individualized medical care unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement with a qualified healthcare provider or healthcare organization.

  1. USER ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or use the Services.

By using MaternIT, you represent and warrant that:

You are legally permitted to use the Services
The information you provide is accurate and complete
You will use the Services only for lawful purposes

MaternIT may include artificial intelligence, automation, analysis tools, summaries, prompts, suggestions, question-generation tools, report interpretation tools, or similar features.

These features are provided for educational, informational, organizational, and communication-support purposes only.

You acknowledge that AI or automated outputs may:

Be incomplete
Contain errors
Be based on limited information
Require review by a qualified healthcare professional
Not reflect your full clinical circumstances
Not replace medical advice or clinical judgement
